I’m a local firefighter, husband, and proud father of two. I started Rainier Holiday Lighting to help support my daughter’s dream of becoming a commercial pilot while building a business around something I genuinely enjoy.
There’s something special about transforming a home with beautiful Christmas lights and seeing the joy it brings to families. What is included in the price?
Every installation includes a custom lighting design, commercial-grade C9 LED lights cut specifically for your home, professional installation using specialized clips, extension cords as needed, a photocell timer, seasonal maintenance, and professional removal after the holidays.
The lights are yours to keep, and optional storage is available until next season. You'll receive a clear, upfront quote with no hidden fees.
How much does it cost?
Residential Christmas light installations start at $500, with final pricing based on your home's size, roofline, and custom lighting design. Commercial installations receive a customized quote.
We also offer special neighborhood pricing for qualifying homes, including Trilogy at Tehaleh, where installations may start below $500.
Every customer receives a clear, competitive quote before work begins.
What colors can I choose?
We offer six beautiful C9 LED lighting options:
- Warm White
- Warm White and Red
- Cool White
- Cool White and Blue
- Multicolor
- Green, Red and Warm White

Do you light trees, bushes, or anything besides the roofline?
Our specialty is custom-fit C9 LED roofline lighting for homes and businesses, including gutters, peaks, eaves, and dormers.
If you have something else in mind, select "Something else" on our estimate form and tell us about your idea. We're happy to discuss additional lighting options.
Commercial customers can also inquire about year-round lighting arrangements.
When do you install and take the lights down?
Our installation season begins October 15. We recommend booking by December 5 for the best chance of having your lights installed before Christmas, although availability depends on our schedule.
After the holidays, we coordinate professional removal, typically beginning in January. Optional storage is available until the following season.
Booking early gives you the best selection of installation dates.
What if a bulb or section goes out?
We stand behind our work! If a bulb or section stops working due to an installation or equipment issue during the holiday season, simply contact us.
Seasonal maintenance and service calls for covered lighting issues are included at no additional charge.
We want your home looking beautiful throughout the holiday season.
Do the lights come on by themselves?
Yes! Every installation includes a photocell timer that automatically turns your lights on at dusk and turns them off at your selected time.
Once installed, you can simply relax and enjoy your holiday lighting.

Yes! Unlike some holiday lighting companies that rent their lights to customers, the commercial-grade C9 LED lights we provide are yours to keep.
Your lights are custom-cut to fit your home and can be reused in future seasons.
We also offer optional storage, so you don't have to worry about storing them yourself.
Is installation cheaper the following year?
Yes! Returning customers can typically enjoy lower pricing in future seasons because their custom-fit lights have already been purchased.
Instead of paying for a completely new lighting setup, you're primarily paying for professional installation, seasonal maintenance, and removal.
Renewal pricing depends on your home's lighting design, any requested changes, and the condition of your existing lights.
